A hidden garden in the Old Town
A wedding in the heart of the Old Town – not in a church or a ballroom, but in a garden. Zuzanna and Andrew, a Polish-American couple, chose the Gardens of the Archaeological Museum in Kraków for both the ceremony and the reception. It is a very unusual wedding venue that rarely appears in wedding calendars.
Greenery surrounded by historic walls, a few steps from Wawel Castle and the Planty park, and a calm you would not expect in the city centre.

A floral wedding and vows from California
Flowers were the main theme – the floral arch looked as if it had grown out of the garden. The wedding brought together two cultures: Zuzanna is Polish and Andrew is Jewish, from Los Angeles.
The vows talked about choice: that a marriage lasts because two people choose each other every day. They promised to have even more fun – to be serious, silly and live the best possible life together.

A reception under a tent
In the evening the garden became a ballroom: a tent with hanging floral installations, a stage and a dance floor full until late at night. Kraków has a few places for an outdoor wedding without leaving the city, but a garden inside the Old Town is a rare find.
FAQ
Why choose a garden wedding Kraków style?
The Archaeological Museum gardens are a hidden green space in the Old Town, right below Wawel Castle. Zuzanna and Andrew had their garden wedding here, with vows from California, and the reception took place in a clear marquee with floral chandeliers. In Kraków I also filmed a wedding in the Słowacki Theatre.
Who created this garden wedding in Kraków?
Andrew is from Los Angeles and Zuzanna is from Poland. Their August garden wedding Kraków team included Ewenta (the clear marquee), Paper Flower Art (decor), Modern Light Service (tent and garden lighting), the band Stage Fever, Velour Cake Studio (cake and dessert table) and White Smoke Studio (photography). The full list is in the Vendors section above.
How much does a wedding film cost?
Wedding films in Poland start from 10,000 PLN, and destination weddings abroad from €2,500 including travel and accommodation. See all packages on the Offer page.
When will we receive our film?
Usually 3–4 months after the wedding. In that time I edit a short highlight film and a longer film of the whole day, built around your story.
Do you work with international couples?
Yes – most of my couples are international or mixed, and I work fully in English, from the first call to the final film. I have been filming weddings since 2012 and have worked with more than 250 couples, including couples from London, New York, Los Angeles and Seattle. More about me.
